I like doing these tags that make me have to remember stuff. I had to call my friend Jaime to help spark my memories a little. I had the best time living in a town were there was nothing to do. Before you read on you need to get in your mind that I lived in a tiny farming town in Nevada, population maybe 350, 72 students in 7th-12th grade my senior year, 45 minute drive to the nearest grocery store, and 3 hour drive to Las Vegas, the closest city. So, on with the questions.
1.DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL? I did not date anyone and I was one of the few in my high school that could say that they were not related to most of the boys in my school.
2. WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE? Mostly the red Chevy truck. the massive bumper on that thing backed into many other cars my Junior year. Not a scratch on my truck, just different colors of paint.
3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY? Yes I did. go figure.
4. WHERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL? If by party animal you mean squeezing five people in Jared Carter's "Captain America" farm truck and driving up the wrong side of a cattle ramp (nothing but sky), or dressing up like bandits and steeling the treasure chest from the senior's lame sauce dance, or sneaking into the school in the middle of the night to watch a movie in the teachers lounge? Then yes. (I could go on and on.)
5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT? I didn't think that I was but there are more than a few people who would disagree.
6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR? We did not have any of those things at my school.
7. WERE YOU A NERD? No, I would have needed much better grades to be a nerd.
8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS? Yes. Volleyball, Basketball and Cheer leading.
9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED? No. Our entire senior class (9 of us) got sent to the office for cheating on a final. The jackass teacher gave out the answers to one of the other classes which we studied from. That was the closest thing to really being in trouble.
10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG? Yes. Here comes the mighty Mustang pack....
11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS? Mr. Bennett (he taught wood shop, anything science, etc.) He had a wooden leg and was missing the tips of some of his fingers. He came to school a lot with his shirt buttoned wrong and he didn't put up with any body's crap but was fun at the same time.
12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH? I went home to eat lunch
13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME? Lund Jr./Sr. High School
14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS? Mustangs. Blue and Gold
15. DID YOU GO TO HOMECOMING AND WITH WHO? Jr Year-Justin Singleton, Sr. Year-???
16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU? I had a good time in high school. I kind of miss acting stupid all the time and I would do it again for the sports. Other than that, No. College was so much more fun than high school, I would do that again for sure.
17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION? Mrs. Maynard (principal) wanted us all to stand up at exactly the same time. It was apparently very important to her. Also, we showed a video with tons of pictures of each person in my graduating class from baby pics to graduation and it only took 20 mins.
18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY? I don't remember having a skip day, maybe we didn't go because there was no were to go. If I'm wrong someone who knows remind me please.
19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS? I was in FFA, L-club (pres.) .... I can't think of any other clubs.
20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN? Umm, yah. I prefer not to talk about that.
21. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE? Jr. and Sr. years, Brent Mathews from Panaca. He was a nice guy, he was taller than me and he took a pretty good picture. We never dated other than the three proms.
22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR 10 YEAR REUNION? How sad would a reunion with 9 people be? Our school doesn't really have class reunions. It would be more of a "If you ever went to school there" reunion. I think that there have been a couple of those.
23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL? No. I was the president of most things, played everything and made posters in bulk. I had no time for anything else. Where would I have spent money anyway? We didn't have any stores other than a gas station.
I loved growing up in Lund. I could not imagine growing up any other place. And I miss a lot of the people I went to school with. I hope they are all happy and doing well.

I heart Lund!
Also, I love that the bumper of your truck backed into everyone else, not you. Like bumper had a mind of its own. It also makes me laugh that the whole "this is your life" video for the entire graduating class was 20 minutes long. I have been to one Lund graduation, it was rather large with about 18 grads, and it was pretty awesome.
Also, what ever happened to your cheer leading outfit... ;)
Elizabeth, this totally cracks me up. Can I have my friends come read? No one ever believes my crazy Lund stories.
