Our long weekend in Yellowstone was so nice, we all needed a relaxing vacation. We spent most of our time in the park soaking up the beauty of the amazing scenery. The contrast of tree covered mountains, piles of black rock, meadows of golden grass, sulfuric pools of turquoise bordered by rings of yellow and copper. I cannot stand among these wonderful spectacles of boiling mud, steaming geysers, and howling mud volcano caves, not to mention the majestic animals, and not testify that God is great. His creations are awesome and inspiring. How blessed we are to have these creations all around us to enjoy. It also intensifies the responsibility I feel to protect and preserve these blessings that God has entrusted to us.
