I am so behind on my posting! I am going to try and get caught up this week.
I was thinking a few days ago about how nice Christmas was this year. I worked extra hard to have a nice Christmas and I feel that it paid off. I was a little surprised about the things that made me the happiest. And that I had a good time despite living with the Grinch. Anyway, here are the highlights of Our Christmas
I love my Christmas tree decorations. The foundation of my decorations were a gift from my Mom when we moved into our house. ( Thanks Mom!) Just about every year since Jared and I have been married I have made new ornaments for our tree. Now we have one or two of each of those ornaments on our tree. These are my favorite part. They tell a story of our life together and I love to look at them and remember. We also try to get ornament the remind us of special memories. Here are few of my favorites.

Madeline and I made this star in 2008. That is a whole lot of glitter right there.

It was really hard to choose only a few ornaments to take pictures of for this post. I love them all. You will have to came over and see them next year.

The birdhouse was an ornament my mom had made when she was first married and had it on our tree as long as I could remember. A few years ago she only had a few like this that had survived aver the years and I loved this one so she gave it to me. I love to look at it.

Christmas Eve is always great. I love the soup, the bread bowls, the excitement, the love, the spirit. Thanks Nana and Papa.

I thought that I would give a little explanation for these guys.
1. I love have Jared home and as you can see, so do the kids.
2. I love the excitement on Christmas morning. Bradley was quite serious about the gift opening.
3. I love the TEENY little puppy that my Mom got for Christmas. Sooo Sweet!
4. I love my brother. Even when he doesn't feel well he can find something goofy to make us smile.
5. I love my big 5 year old girl. She is such a big helper.
6. I love that Brother loves his uncle Kelly. Bradley has him trained just right.
7. I love reindeer tracks in the snow.
8. I love Temple Square and my bundles up kids.
I found that the things that I loved are the things that I have with me all the time, the gospel, my family, fond memories and making memories.
I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday
Happy New Year
