Today I am thankful for being busy.

This photo is an extreme exaggeration.
Last night when I went to bed I was aware that I had some extra things that I need to do today. When I got started on the morning I began to remember some other things that I needed to do. Then I was reminded of another important thing that I need to do.
This is how it went today:
7:00~up and at em'
8:15~get Madeline off to school
8:30~run to wal-mart for diapers, poster board & a table cloth
9:30~get home just in time to babysit mister max.
11:30~package up some bags to get in the mail
12:00~try to fix myself up, lunch, put brother down for a nap
12:45~off to Madeline's school to volunteer
12:50~buy bread on the way
1:00~do the fluency reading with each of Madeline's class mate
3:30~home work
4:00~snacks for the kids 2 or 3 times not the same thing for either of them
5:00~more home work
5:30~clean up the living room
6:00~watch the end of a movie with the kids
6:30~dinner
7:00~bedtime routine
8:00~run to JCPenny to use coupon
9:30~home
What I didn't get done:
~I didn't get to the post office
~I didn't get to use 2 sweet coupons that expired today
~I got no other cleaning done other than vacuuming the living room
I know a lot of moms who would consider this a very laid back day. (Tori) For me I do much better if I know what is going to happen in advance and I can mentally prepare.I like to write everything down on a note card.I didn't even have time for a note card and I had more surprises than I am used to.
Sounds like I am complaining but I'm not.
Surprisingly I hardly stressed at all today. I think the reason why is that Jared stayed home from school because he didn't feel well and that meant that brother got to stay home too. Having Bradley in tow not only slows things down but it is harder to stay focused on the next thing that needs to be done. For me that causes "confusion and delay" to quote his favorite show. (Thomas the train) Also Bradley didn't have to skip his nap and that is always nice.
Something that I like about busy days is that I don't eat as much. On the days when I stay home and TRY to do house work I eat. It is what I do when I am procrastinating my chores.
So, a shout out to my sweat heart for helping so much on his sick day.
I wouldn't be thankful for this day if it weren't for him.
I love you.
