My favorite new thing to do with Madeline (aside from the other new thing that we started last night, but I will get to that later) is to wrestle. She is so funny! She flexes her muscles, scrunches up her nose, squints her eyes, then jumps on my head with her knees and erupts with laughter.
The video is of her coming in to wrestle me while I was trying to take a little nap in the middle of the day to get ready for working all night.
So, my other favorite thing that Madeline likes to do is play "What's Yours?" Last night, after all the kids went home, I was sitting on the couch and Madeline came over and sat on a chair across from me. She had her big pink bouncy ball and she bounced it to me and said, "So... What's yours?" I didn't know what she was talking about, so I bounced the ball back and said, "I don't know, what's yours?" She started talking about one of her new kitchen that Liz bought from Once Upon a Child. I guessed that she was adding a ball to something Liz used to do with her at night before bed, where they would talk about their favorite things from the day. She got done with her story, and then bounced the ball back to me and said, "What's yours?" I said one of my favorite things and bounced the ball back and asked her the same question. We played this game for about five minutes before Liz got home and joined in the fun. So, as best as I can remember, here are some of Madeline's favorite things from our inaugural "What's Yours" game.
- Playing with Selah.
- Her new kitchen and putting all the dishes in the Microwave and then shaking it until they all fall out.
- Playing with Emily.
- Her mom and dad.
- Making new quilts for her bed out of favric. (She says fabric with a "v" and it is one of the only words she doesn't pronounce correctly, and it is so cute, so we will just let her grow out of it, like all of the other words she used to say like a baby.)
- Playing with Charlotte.
- Going to the zoo.
- Playing at the playground.
- Making flat pots out of clay and making clay sculptures.
- Playing in puddles when it rains.
I should have written them down last night after we played the game, but I am sure we will play again. It was seriously the cutest thing she has ever done (and those of you who know her know that that makes is pretty darn cute!!!)

How fun! Kids make life worth it (most of the time) I think.
