There is no place like the Erie Zoo. It is really small so you can get very close to the animals. In fact you get to go right into the habitat with the kangaroos. If one hops up to you you can try to pet it. How cool would that be? They have a lot of fun little things to do as you walk through like the chimes that you can jump on, sand box, face painting, play ground, a tunnel of vines, little streams with stepping stone to cross, old fashion water pump to try, big bridges that take you over the river, train, just to name a few.
We went to the Zoo with Emily Russell and her daughter Selah and her 4 week old baby boy Blake. Madeline and Selah are good buddies. They have the best time. Madeline is starting to get how to play with kids younger than her.
Our favorite thing at the Zoo this day was the Gibbon Monkeys. This year they have a white one that we hadn't seen before. He was going bananas. It kind of a long video but the end is the best.
Next is a little video of the kids playing on the chimes.
This is a video of the baby Orangutan. He is 4 years old, can you tell?
We are going to the zoo again on Thursday. They are doing a special class and craft for our little group of Govie Ducklings, I'll let you know if it is cool.

Jackson enjoyed watching your videos, sounds like you are having a fun summer.
I love the Erie zoo! I told Carter today that we weren't going to be able to come and visit, he is pretty upset about it. We miss you guys!
