I am going to start putting our "Out of the mouth of Madeline" stories as regular posts so they will be archived. So here are couple of funny things that she said just lately.
1. We had gotten home from the store and she was walking up to the door holding some things in her arms and, because she couldn't open the door, I heard her yell, "Why does everything just fight me?" She learned that one from her dad.
2. Jared was sitting on the step trying to put on his shoes and Madeline was next to him patting him on the head. When Jared said he had grabbed the wrong shoes, she said, "Dad, get your head in the game." Also from her dad.
She has grown into such a lippy pants. Like her dad.
