the Bunny Hunt

In case you missed Madeline's post, she is trying to earn money to buy a bunny.

Yesterday we went door to door selling homemade treats. We sold out half way through the neighborhood (thanks to Rebecka Dyckman). Madeline made $9! She only has $6 to go. I have upped her pay for doing jobs around the house to a dime to help hurry things along.

Last night we went to a ladies house that had some 5 week old lion head bunnies. Madeline picked one out. The lady set her aside so that we could come back when Madeline has earned the rest of her money.

Today after Preschool we went to the C-A-L Ranch store and got all the fixin's for feeding the bunny. Now we are all set.

Madeline has a job lined up for Saturday and she is still working hard around the house. I think that we might have a cute little bunny in the family very soon. I will keep you posted.
