Madeline has said some of the funniest things in the last 24 hours I had to record them before I forget.

On our way home from Lund yesterday the kids were playing with glow sticks in the back seat. Madeline asked, "How does a glow stick glow?"
Jared explained in some detail.
Madeline said, "That doesn't make any sense. I am not old enough to know about that."

On the way to Lund on Friday Jared had told Madeline that he would buy her a glass diamond that she saw at a gas station If she were a good girl. On the way home we were talking about how happy we were that she was so good all weekend but that it was to late to stop at that gas station to get the diamond.
Madeline whined, "I waisted all of my goodness for nothing!"

Today we were talking about what to have for dinner.
Madeline says, "Soup in the worst! I like things I can chew."
She makes me laugh, I think I'll keep her.

i wasted all of my goodness for nothing. that's great. i think that's how my sister will feel if she shows up in heaven and finds out she's going to have to participate in polygamy. ha.
